''All of the Animations and Images included in this POST was simulated by ENESTU'' ©ENESTU_Research Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is a branch of fluid mechanics that uses numerical analysis and data structures to analyze and solve problems that involve fluid flows. Computers are used to perform the calculations required to simulate the free-stream flow of the fluid, and the interaction of the fluid (liquids and gases) with surfaces defined by boundary conditions. With high-speed supercomputers, better solutions can be achieved, and are often required to solve the largest and most complex problems. Ongoing research yields software that improves the accuracy and speed of complex simulation scenarios such as transonic or turbulent flows. Initial validation of such software is typically performed using an experimental apparatus such as wind tunnels. Also, previously performed analytical or empirical analysis of a particular problem can be used for comparison. Final val

Thermal Analysis Of Solar Energy

When you decide to place a photovoltaic system to provide electricity and use clean energy sources as best as you can, first you need to take a look at the amount of radiation got to the ground and received by the pannels. So it is better to select an area of ground that receives much radiation and most of the time it happens in summer months when the sun is above our head and in the middle of the sky. Congratulations now you can choose a photovoltaic system and install it. But wait there is one more thing. Here you can see why we can not rely on solar radiation in a month of the year while it has the most and least energetic rays about to place a photovoltaic system or deciding on something else like water heating systems or thermal systems. So it has special analysis when you decide to install an efficient renewable working system.

Solar Thermal System

Sun is a free source of energy that we use it to generate electricity with photovoltaics but that's not all the story about it. Solar thermal energy is another form of energy in solar beams emitted by the sun to the earth as a reason for the vaporization of seawater. Also, solar thermal energy causes the flows of air - winds and flows in oceans all around the globe. It changes the seasons of the year.  Additionally, solar thermal energy is a source of heat in passive or direct forms like preheating or warming water or air by solar collectors to run a power plant, provide domestic hot water or using solar radiation coming through windows directly into space. Now it is possible to use this clean and free energy in our homes and for portable use by application of new packaged collector technologies. So our team designed a solar thermal system in details on the roof of the building. This is a simple design of a solar thermal system.

Photovoltaic system Design

Because of global warming and the idea of further utilization of green energy as distributed generation or stand-alone systems such as solar and wind, installation of these power systems requires a pre-implementation of the project, which is important to its application. Here we did the study and simulation for installation of a 7.5 kW solar photovoltaic system by the AEG panel and the Delta Energy inverter. In this study, we can notice the energy generated at the beginning of the process as DC was 14.1 MWh. Seeing the losses of pannel, array and inverter for the system lead to 11.90 MWh energy by the solar power system added into the grid annually. solar photovoltaic panel data inverter data

Demand Side Management

Image
Demand-side management of electricity like the load shifting is a solution to reduce the capacity in the use of peak load power plants. Also, we can consider load shifting as demand-side resources by being a part of distributed resources. Here’s a design of a thermal energy storage system for a four-floor office building that was simulated by Trace700 software. We designed it to meet the 38% and 8% of the cooling load in two different scenarios. All the cooling load in 6 hrs of the peak on a day is 54%. It reduced the capacity of power plants in use and improved efficiency of the system.

Photovoltaic System

As the world is going through growing in all aspects to better live by developing new technologies and a new standard of living, the people in a country will increase their use of energy to use that technology and that technology makes it easy to solve our problems until we get in trouble by facing with global warming and climate change or random events caused by nature.  Then, by the way, the source of energy we use is important.  We know that Renewables are the best solution as a reliable and free source of energy; photovoltaic systems produce electricity.  We designed a photovoltaic system and video shows the simulation and layout of that system in the project. Study of shading impact during a day (from 7 am to 4 pm) is the main target of this simulation.
